Where Strengths Lead the Way
At Inclusive Pathways Speech, we honor each child’s unique way of learning and communicating. We build relationships first — because communication grows best when children feel safe, engaged, and understood. Sessions follow your child’s interests and support back-and-forth interaction in a natural, playful way.
Rather than focusing on “fixing” behaviors or rushing milestones, we help children participate more comfortably in daily routines, connect with others, and express themselves in ways that feel authentic to them.

Our Core Beliefs
Connection Comes First
Communication grows from safe, responsive relationships. We prioritize trust, co-regulation, and emotional attunement so children feel seen, supported, and ready to communicate.
Families Are Essential Partners
Parents and caregivers are part of the team. We give families practical tools and confidence to support communication beyond therapy.
Strengths Over Deficits
We build on each learner’s strengths. Progress is measured by real-life impact, growing autonomy, and meaningful participation—not just test scores.
Play Based and Culturally Responsive
Play drives learning. Therapy is joyful, functional, and tailored to each child’s language, culture, and daily routines.
Differences Should Be Celebrated
Differences in communication, processing, and sensory experience are valid. We support authentic self-expression and self-advocacy in every child.
Communication Is a Right
Communication is a human right. We remove barriers and expand access so every child can participate, connect, and thrive.
Hi! I’m Nancy Uruchima,
M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Nancy Uruchima, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD is the founder of Inclusive Pathways Speech and a New York State–licensed, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Master's degree from New York University and brings both clinical expertise and a deep personal commitment to every child and family she works with.
Nancy specializes in working with children with diverse communication profiles, including autistic children, children with language delays, speech sound differences, and social communication differences. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, sensory-informed, and play-based — rooted in the belief that every child communicates, and that therapy should feel like a place of joy, not pressure.
For Nancy, this work is personal. She understands firsthand what it means to navigate systems as a bilingual, multicultural family, and she brings that lived understanding into her practice. She provides therapy in both English and Spanish and is deeply committed to care that is culturally and linguistically responsive — honoring each family's values, traditions, and experiences.
Nancy believes that meaningful progress happens when everyone is working together. She partners closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and related service providers to make sure children can communicate and participate fully in the environments that matter most to them — at home, at school, and in their communities.
